Amazing service, atmosphere and food.

Great setting, bread was fresh and pasta just like nonas!

The stuffed artichoke, oh goodness gracious, sooooo sooo good!!

Facts: Showed up at 1:55 on a weekend, treating a friend. Noticed the lunch menu displayed outside. Get inside, they bring us Dinner Menus. Don't want a make a scene/get bad food, let it slide. Server throws a fit when we tell him we're going to abstain from Alcohol for the meal. Food comes, fine enough. Server throws a fit when we tell him we're full and going to pass on Dessert. They bring the check (incidentally lunch menu is about 1/2 to 2/3 of dinner menu). I put cash for the tip, pay the bill with a credit card. Couple days later, I see that they billed the credit card for an unauthorized tip. Have to dispute with the credit card company. Irritated, I call the restaurant and ask when lunch ends - answer: 3:30pm. In short, they'll try to rip you off, especially if you are from out of town.

Had lunch with a good friend of mine we sat outside because it was very nice out. Service and food were great I would definitely recommend this place.

Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed dining at Marco Polo. We started our meals with appetizers of baked clams, veal meatballs, roasted artichokes, and mozzarella balls wrapped in slices of prosciutto. Every single one of these appetizers was delicious. Our main courses consisted of black linguine with calamari and shrimp, bacalao with a thin tomato sauce and capers, Lobster ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs. We had dessert, naturally, of tiramisu which was excellent. The service was excellent and the restaurant's Ambiance is very inviting. Go, enjoy, you won't be disappointed.

Best place to have a party for a small group. Had my 40th High School Reunion for like 75 people and it was great.

Came here for a friend's birthday dinner and it was delish. Plenty of good food options and I opted for the New Zealand rack of lamb. Wasn't disappointed and it wasn't outrageously expensive for a dish either. They take reservations and a very accommodating for larger groups. Great friendly staff, made it for a great night.

Went Marco polo for my graduation. Was the perfect spot for the amount of attendees. We used the private upstairs room. The food was good. The staff was attentive and friendly. Excellent location for functions

I love the ambiance and food! The host was extremely pleasant despite a busy hectic February 14th. She kept her cool at all times, quite amazing! Our server was excellent. But the busboy was visibly irrated with us, he kept asking us if we were finished with our appetizers and main course. The first time he came by we said no, he made a face and looked at his wristwatch. Our server came by too, he told us to enjoy our meal, quite a different experience compared with the busboy. We left around 1015-1030, a lot of empty tables so I didnt understand the rush. Anyway, I'm still giving our experience here 5 stars. House made pasta was hearty--heart shaped ravioli!!! They have a great wine selection. The dessert was pretty delicious too.

In some ways, stepping into Marco Polo is like stepping back a few decades. While this is not an unmitigated positive, by and large it's a good thing. Marco Polo is like one of those "fancy" Italian restaurants you went to back in the day, with big red sauce dishes, waiters speaking to you and accents that sound like something out of a movie, and a crowd where necks, biceps, and waists, all appear to be approximately the same size. RFood is excellent and the service is even better. I went with friends sat outside. Tony the Bar Tender and Carmen the server did an outstanding job.We sampled 4 apps and dishes between the four of each one was better than the next.I would put their Irish Coffee eight up there with Nearys.Set Ready Go!

I had a reservation for Valentine’s Day and didn’t have to wait for my table, although the place was crowded! The place was beautiful with the decorations they added. The service was excellent. The food was delicious and can’t wait to come back!

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner. It was pleasant enough. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The Turkey dinner , however was not special. It reminded me of a TV dinner with similar presentation. Glasses of soda were served in wine glasses with ice about 3 oz for $2 . Service was generally excellent . The upstairs dining room was more of a catering or party hall. Non Thanksgiving items such as steak , ravioli, chicken were a much better value and tasted and looked better.

Marco Polo is always a warm and enjoyable time for me and my family. The staff are always personable and warm along with being highly efficient. The food is great and the atmosphere is always classy. I will continue to go here for special occasions.

Service and atmosphere is top notch, but the food is disappointing. Been a few times and it just doesn't deliver the goods. It always seems like it's going to be the best Italian food in the neighborhood and then it's not. Not bad in any way, but not good enough either. I hesitate to criticize this place because I want to love it... but I don't.

Very attentive staff, I can't remember the last time I actually had a professional waiter serve me. The waiter had complete knowledge of the items on the menu. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. We shall return often.

A must place to eat in bklyn. Fine food at reasonable prices. Food is 5 stars and the service is 5 stars. A great wine list. My girlfriend and I had dinner there and she loved it. Was her 1st time there. An enjoyable evening for both of us. Well worth it.

Food has been excellent for decades ... Service has always been exceptional.. Probably considered a landmark .... Defiantly a neighborhood staple . neighborhood has become a lot like the village in Manhattan .... Come have a fantastic meal and enjoy the area .

I had a full course lunch at Marco Polo for a family event. The food and service is very good here. They have a bar, not a BYOB. They have valet service which is a real plus as parking can be difficult in the area. They have access to a garage down the block. The owner who has been in the restaurant business for 36 years, was on premises, which is also a plus. I cannot comment on the prices since I was a guest at a family party so cannot rate it for value. Overall, a nice dining experience.

There are not enough stars to rate this restaurant. The elegance , the ambience and the Competence of the staff is 1st rate. Now, It's cuisine is AAA and a whole new level above magnificent. Korean maker reservations to this highest level of food prep & presentation that you can find in Brooklyn.Tell the owner Joe Chirico, Christine from Wine and Dine told you so!
